Hydra MAX 2 (Wideband Dual-Link)

Ka Multi-Orbit Mobility Terminal with 500 MHz of IBW (on both Rx and Tx) per Link – LEO/MEO/GEO/HEO

Operate, communicate, and command with two independent full-duplex 500 MHz Ka-band links and multi-orbit resilience to ensure assured on-the-move connectivity across the battlespace.

Built on the proven Hydra platform, Hydra MAX 2 extends multi-orbit connectivity to support next-generation wideband Ka networks. The military-grade, solid-state terminal combines a low-profile design with rapid deployment and reliable performance in harsh environments, delivering connectivity across LEO, MEO, GEO, and HEO orbits. With up to 1 GHz of aggregate instantaneous bandwidth, Hydra MAX 2 delivers the throughput, flexibility, and resilience required for mission-critical operations.

Hydra MAX 2 | ALL.SPACE

Operates two simultaneous, full-duplex Ka-band links across multiple orbits, each providing 500 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth per link (1 GHz aggregate), to support next-generation Ka-band satellite networks and resilient, multi-network operations on the move for total mission assurance.

Simultaneous Multi-Link, Multi-Orbit, Ka-Band Network-Agnostic Satellite Connectivity

Connects to two satellites concurrently, with each independent link providing 500 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth (on both Rx & Tx) across Ka-band networks spanning LEO, MEO, GEO, and HEO orbits, maximizing throughput and ensuring continuous data flow for assured communications. Designed for seamless interoperability with today’s and future satellite ecosystems, the terminal supports on-the-move (OTM) operations on SES Ka-band GEO and O3b mPOWER MEO networks. It integrates with select iDirect, Viasat, Gilat, and Comtech modems. Certifications and interoperability validations for additional networks, including Viasat’s global Ka-band integrated network, Amazon’s Leo, and Telesat Lightspeed, are underway.

Gigabit-Class Connectivity

Hydra MAX 2 delivers gigabit-class throughput with 1 GHz of instantaneous Ka‑band bandwidth (2× 500 MHz) for cloud, edge, and real‑time mission systems, supporting concurrent defense‑grade workloads, such as R 4K video, Common Operational Picture (COP) feeds, video teleconferencing (VTC), and bulk data transfer, with cross‑orbit failover or bonding to maintain continuity or boost capacity.

Frequency‑Hopping Resilience for Contested Operations

Wide instantaneous bandwidth enables rapid frequency hopping and broad spectral spreading, improving anti‑jam resilience and supporting wideband military waveforms such as Protected Tactical Waveform (PTW).

Customizable Configurations with Rapid Deployment

Swappable bays for supported modems, edge compute, and other mission‑specific modules, paired with a low‑profile, plug‑and‑play design that streamlines field installation and operations.
